Bama & Hitch.......

More great artwork from James Bama. After his stint with the Aurora Model Kit company (in Hempstead Long Island!), he did the updated Doc Savage series of paperbacks in the late 1960's. *********** When I was younger and shopping with my parents in department stores (after I was a little too old for the toy department), I'd often wander over to the stationary/ paperback book department. The Master.....

...James Bama! I won this vintage Aurora model kit box on E-Bay this week (a steal at $30.00!). The illustration on front is by "the master" James Bama. This model kit (when assembled) was never one of my favorites, but the box itself held enough thrills to compensate.
